janestarzWhat shall I say about this night at my dad’s? I’ve spent most of my time with Raphael, because, he cool. He’s almost sixteen and has radical games on the computer. Tony Hawk etc.
My father was his charming self. This time he didn’t ask when I’d continue my hunt for the driverslicense, but he listened, asked a question every now and then and mostly, ate and read. After dinner, he didn’t try to interact with me. He just, well, watched a movie with Detty. And I played on the computer.
I spent most time with Detty. We drove to Amsterdam to the German consulate for Raphael’s passport. Then we drove back to the Cement Suburbs. Then we went to the market and shopped for curtains and lace. And then she drove me to the trainstation. Her driving skills scare me. She drives like a maniac. Very stubborn at one moment, very panicy the next. And she never uses the flashy orangy thing. You know, the one that normal people use when they go left or right.
In the train back home I sew some and I talked to educated old people. And when I got home I hung the curtains. They’re very pretty. Darkblue is a good colour with red. I wonder what Tommy will think of them because she doesn’t know I got them already.
In the middle of the train, Corrie called me. Saying I had to come and cut/paste film material. Well, little miss Purple Sheep, here’s a big fat finger for you! *Makes gesture* Up yours missy!
Naw, really. Not kidding. She’s pissed at me because I couldn’t be there today and when I told her I’d not be able to make it tomorrow because of ‘family affairs’ she got pissed even more. Well, Feanor is family. Feanor (Spirit of Fire in Elvish, Tolkien) is my sword and I’ll pick her up tomorrow. That will save me 10% on the price. The Dreamwalker will accompany me to Uden, where the shop is. He sms’d me “Corrie was mad at you. Bwahahaha!”.
Yups. Will finish the dress I’m working on and then eat and clean some. Only a few more days to prep the house for the fest. Hear hear! I don’t know if I can make it to school to update LJ before then but I’ll type it out anyway.
