At my mom's house
Nov. 10th, 2001 02:05 pmYesterday was parent's day at college. Dad was there, with a very long face, but at the end of the afternoon he even looked a bit cheerful. My mother thought it was great.
The day started with a little church-singing, then there was a journalism-talky talky, and then we had a little chat with the class-mentor. He showed our week-projects, our project-week-paper, and was very proud of us. He glowed at the 'award-ceremony'. He was SO proud of us. It was really great.
The end of the project-week was so rewarding. Being in one classroom with eachother has brought Lieneke, Simon, Dennis and me closer. Stress binds us...and laughing about strings ofcourse.
We had an evaluation yesterday. Dennis, the leader of the project was a bit late, and when he entered he glowed as he received an applause :) Truth be told, he did a great job, and he deserved it. I think he's still glowing with pride.
Well, so am I...
