*Ding* Project done!
May. 21st, 2017 10:20 pmAnd with this final pair, I have bowed out of the Sock Madness. Finishing it slowly was the right move, and not having to redo half a pair of socks because of me reading a chart wrong was a relief. These will not be my favourite socks by far, but it was nice to learn some new techniques. Now it remains to test if wool-cotton blend socks are quite as itchy to my feet as woolen socks might be.

Because I have no knitting inspiration left, I'm focusing on finishing some WIPs. First is....a pair of socks to finish. Unicorn stripes in candy pink.
There's also talk of starting another sock KAL after the madness has finished. I am surprised at the number of people quite ready to dive right in. I'm slightly horrified (don't you people have a life to get back to?), but since the KAL coincides with one of my New Year's Knitting Resolutions, I'm following the thread. I'd really like to knit a Ludwig, but maybe the yarn and KAL and the book inspire me to join in the madness this KAL will be. We'll see! (Any inspiration is better than none, after all.)
