Driving, soreness, and test scores.
Jun. 7th, 2016 08:38 amYesterday was the first day in weeks that I drove my car again, which resulted in really sore shoulders and headache. The weather hasn't been helping: it's been stuffy and warm and moist. And since it was the last day of school, we got to review our test scores and then proceeded to cram a lot more knowledge in our heads. And driving in bright sunlight, with a pair of glasses that is a little off, with busy roads, is not the best way to relax. No wonder I was beat when I got home.
I did really well on the test and now have an 8,7 year grade on pattern drafting. The exams count double, of course, so this is just ⅓ of my final grade, but it's a great start. This week I'll spend time with my nose in the books, interspersed with some light sewing.
My shoulders were so painful I woke up tonight and tried to get comfortable. I've not quite fully recovered yet, but I hope it will get better during the day. And next time I drive my car, I'll scoot forward some more so I don't have to reach.
