34!

Today I turn 34! I woke this morning to Eisirt bringing me a squealing kitty whose idea of fun was to be anywhere but in the bed with us. (Silly cat has a mind of her own 5 times out of 7!)

Eisirt made home-baked croissants and gave me a Kindle e-reader! I've had fun browsing Amazon and looking at free titles, because I need to apply for a credit-card before I can actually buy any titles. This is just a minor hitch, as there are already 50+ books for free I was looking to read. I've read the Oscar Wilde omnibus this winter, but "The Importance of Being Earnest" was so hilarious I don't mind reading it again. I've also downloaded "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and several other classic titles that will keep me entertained for quite a while. All from the "free" section.

It's a Kindle Paperwhite, so it's not huge (just about A5 format), which makes it especially portable. It can read .pdf and .doc as well as several other formats.
I'm looking forward to the weekend, when I'll be celebrating my birthday with a Stitch 'n Bitch with some of my craftier girlfriends. Let's hope the weather holds!

't Is al jaaaaren 12 5 82 maar ik lieg nog wel eens tegen het internet. Facebook denkt dat ik al 35 ben!
