Fitted winter coat
Dec. 17th, 2015 11:47 amA final picture of my beautiful winter coat, taken in the lovely city of Alkmaar. This was taken at the waterside near the Waag, where the cheese was (and is) weighed and sold. The historic centre of Alkmaar is really lovely, with very tiny streets. I'd love to go back there as a tourist and explore.

As Alice-Lenny always does, I've kept track of the costs of this winter coat....brace for impact!
I also kept track of the hours until I started on the lining. Lining the thing isn't the hard work, hand-sewing all the seams down was. Keeping that in mind, this baby cost me 27½ hours to make (excluding lining).
Still: worth it! Bring on the snow!

Zelf gemaakt geeft zoveel voldoening.
