Brothers-and-Sisters Day
Jun. 14th, 2015 08:26 pmYesterday was Brothers-and-Sisters day, which saw us driving to Noord-Holland. We visited Tuitjenhoorn, which is close to Schagen and Bergen, but we didn't visit Eisirts parents. Instead, it was all about Eisirt's brother.
We had a great time on this organised day, tried our hand at some group-mosaic, played games, had our picture taken, and made music. There was a lunch and in the end we dropped Eisirt's brother off at his house and said our goodbyes.

Thanks to the props, it looked like a wonderful sunny day despite it being overcast and drizzly.
Then it was on to Zevenhuizen, to my brother Jos and his girlfriend Eef. They had just bought the house when my father passed away last year, and as always it is nigh-impossible to plan a date with them. Just a single text message the day before proved more effective than any plans to whip out agenda's and make a date happen. Their house is huge and lovely, and we loved sitting in the garden despite the weather not being great. We had two cups of tea, had a few cuddles from their cat Puck, and then went back on the road.
12 hours after leaving that morning we were home, drained but with a fun day behind us.
