Bodrum, here we come!
May. 24th, 2015 11:02 amTime to add another country to my "been there, done a thing" list. We will start packing bags (aaaaany moment now) and then we're off to Turkey for a week on the blue seas with Eisirt's parents.
I realised yesterday, as I was frantically working to finish Copilot (still 8 rows to go...) that my knitting needles can be seen as garottes, even if I unscrew the needles from the cable. So I guess I will be reading and sleeping on the plane. It's strange that this is a thing that worries me so much, but I really don't want to leave my needles behind at the gate.
Maybe I should have prepared another project, maybe I could have gotten away with a sock project because they're thin as skewers and snap if you try to kill someone with them (hearsay, haven't actually tested this yet), but for now I'll just check the knitting and sleep.
Here's a thought: I could do a PaperLJ. Haven't done those in forever.
I only have very tight jeans to wear on the plane unless I bring a pair of yoga pants. Stupid things are running through my head.
Anyway. Off to be a sailor! Time to swim with the fishies! And more things that are slightly inappropriate to describe your first holiday in 7 years.
