I've been collecting a few recipes in a binder after finding my old cook book. It's a small booklet I once bought at HEMA that I had used for something else, tore out a few pages and then used for storing recipes. The thing is quite ugly and I typed the recipes I did like into OpenOffice and did a fancy layout. Now I'm printing the SIX whole recipes I really liked to store in my new binder.
Some of the things in the old booklet I've never tried and some things I don't even fancy trying my hand at. But these six are awesome and I'm looking to expand my horizons a bit. They include [livejournal.com profile] erwinl's cheese soup, a cake recipe with raisins based on tea, piroshki and a lentil soup.

Want to share your recipes with me?
Got a killer soup you'd like me to try? Do you have the best recipe for scones? Goblin surprise? Oatmeal cookies? Casserole?
Give me your recipes!

And because sharing is caring, here's my favourite dish [livejournal.com profile] anemoona once introduced me to.

Cheese soup? How does that work?
We've collected recipes from the AllerHande over the years an collected them in a little notebook (cut and pasted them). Now we're transferring them to a binder so they can be sorted, taken out etc.

We love soup too:

A bit of a mess in the making (switch to hand work at some point and wear latex gloves):

Enjoy!

Benodigdheden:

  • 80 gr boter
  • 125 gr bloem
  • 1 liter groentebouillon
  • 300 ml melk
  • hele peperkorrels
  • 250 gr geraspte oude kaas of cheddar
  • 15 gr parmesan
  • 2 tl sambal

Bereidingswijze:

I'm not someone who remembers the recipes she tries. I do try a lot of recipes especially now that I get them for free in my vegetable bag.
I do love lemon-ginger tea:
-One cup of hot water
-Some ginger (rasped, but I keep ginger root in the freezer and then cut off slivers with a knife. It's easier to avoid drinking the slivers.)
-Juice of half a lemon (makes it easy to make a second cup with the other half, because I'm usually not the only sick person in the house)
-Tea spoon of honey

Very good when you have a fever and/or sore throat.

I also like this recipe for home made ramen noodles:

http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-make-REAL-Japanese-ramen-from-scratch/

It's simple and I tried it twice (better the second time) and now I'm interested in making more home-made noodles and pasta. It's easy and cheap. ;)
