Red Nailpolish Is Good!
Sep. 16th, 2002 01:38 pmIn Nijmegen, waiting for this train to depart. At the Africamuseum everything went okay. Corrie was not so good at interviewing and the whole thing was very professionalistic, so we were too.
The Africamuseum was very cool indeed. They have an immense collection of masks and such. The inside is great with loads of very small windows scattered at the wall, holding large and small statues. The outside is even better, with rebuilt villages and huts, and goats wandering about.
Also, Johnny was on my voicemail, saying the sweetest things.
I just saw I should write something for Language Control tomorrow. Don't know what. Shall do it when I get to school.
I also just realised that Journalism isn't just a study, it's a part of life. You should adapt it as a lifestyle. Become Journalism. Read, view, ponder and contemplate. Weird. I never realised that. I would have liked to keep things seperate.

Date: 2002-09-17 08:05 am (UTC)i don't, and i'm just hoping that it's not true *yes, the thought has occured to me too*. and otherwise i'll turn to writing books or something :)
hey, you're going for rtv, right? where do you want to be when you grow up? just wondering ...
Re: journalism ...
Also, journalism requires a certain number of traits of a person. Curiousity, creativity, etc. (I'm sure Piet can tell you all about that). And even though I may have those traits, I still do not give a tiny rat's ass about some matters. Which is bad bad bad journalis!
*grins menacingly*
Yes, rtv. Where my future lies? I do not know. The crossroads are a many on this road called life. I would like to be so many things, but I can never be made of wood and grow in the forest. *grins widely* IF you get my drift.
