All the lights are off
Except the other cars'
And the dials on the dash.
I glance out the driver's window
And stare right into Ursa Major's handlebar
When I take the offramp into town
I steer into Orion's arms.
It's a lovely road, and it's all mine. I love dark highways. I understand it can be scary for people with night blindness, but for me it's actually very calming to be cruising in the dark.
