I made some video of the guest bunny today and cobbled it together in Kino (a free video editor that works well enough on my Linux machine). It's been more than ten years since I used Avid, and Kino is (alas!) nothing like it. Oh, how I wish for multiple tracks! The ability to insert music! Easy scrolling in the timeline and editing each bit of film separately so the original doesn't get discarded when you need a bit here and a bit there.
That said, I've managed to fill up the gaps pretty well although it took me a while to figure out rendering text. This was much more fun than lying on the couch and watching braindead movies. I think it's time to get back to work tomorrow, if I feel good enough to do this. (Thank goodness, I hate being ill.)
(There is sound with it, but it's not very interesting)
Made with my Canon 500D, edited in Kino.
