On a happier (?) note
Sep. 7th, 2002 10:22 amjust to deny what has been said and done in the realm closer to my heart at this moment, I'll tell you about my day.
Yesterday I took the train and ended up standing in third class to Rotterdam. Exited at Alexander and took the subway to the centre. I met up with my mom and her lover Luc at Donner, the amazing bookstore. It has eight stories filled with everything and a basement with an enourmous fingerlicking english sci-fi basement.
I bought a book "Bored of the Ring" (a parody to LotR) and a cd of Malmsteen there. Mom and Luc browsed another hour. We had coffee there and around six we walked to the Black Widow, a shop with controversial and goth clothing. Not to mention the spike-collection they have, omg.
So we spent two hours in Donner, than another hour in the Black Widow. My mom even tried on a few goth dresses, and she looked good in them. I tried on some tops with my new skirt and I ended up buying two. Both were seventy pleuro but my mom insisted. So I didn't spend a penny on clothing last night! I'll try to see if someone can do a shoot in my mom's yard today. She has a digicam...but I have no idea if it can be hooked to the computer (because the printer sometimes interferes).
Then we ate at a pizzeria which badly needed cleaning, [there was a dead spider in a cobweb at the wall at eye-level...uck] but the food was good. Then we went home and I heard my neighbourgirl play guitar. I hooked her to it and now she's got lessons. It was great spending some time with the Van Ommens.
This morning I woke up and got coffee. Mom and Luc are booking a flight to New Sealand where they will spend octobre and novembre. I have offered to take the cats with me to Ede but our appartment is way too small for Vlekje, let alone Vlek and two others.
I want to get a guitar here so I can play when I'm here as well. I'm pretty bored. Pondering. Will plunder my mom's garden in a sec. She's got big plants that I can take home, dry and use.

Date: 2002-09-09 02:04 am (UTC)I got concerto suite...I love it. I had actually wanted to buy a cd with classical music, but now I have one. Chopin or Mozart still cheer me up though..
