The last few days have been all about finishing projects for Drachenfest. I am very glad to say all I have to do is finish my pants (taking in the side seams and the back seam) which shouldn't take more than an hour or so.

My helmet is also completely done:

There's a lot more me than this styrofoam head! Also, my dreads make me look like the Predator. Rawr.

I have learned so much from Victor (Dymirthe) when it comes to leatherworking! I won't say he taught me everything I know, since I lot I know comes from Ragar and Drahkan, but the finer points of molding, tooling and shaping are definitely his doing.
Truth is, I hate starting on leatherwork since you need such different tools than what my desk is currently equipped with, but once you get started it's not much work at all. Honest.

Tomorrow I have the whole day for the franticness of packing, folding, ironing and possibly doing the impossible (making a lining for my new formal jacket).

Gambeson: done!
IT Pyjama's: done!
Helmet: done!
Formal jacket: needs some final handsewing and possibly a lining
Greaves: I'm saving a little project for DF.

And now for some more handsewing, an episode of Prison Break, and possibly some pineapple juice if I feel crazy enough for it.
