  • Cycled to work today. I am hoping the exposure to the sun (as filtered by SPF 30, in stead of blocked completely by SPF 50) will make my skin start making melatonin again, so it will get used to the sun a bit.
    Cycling to work is going better all the time. I pumped my tires full of air last week and ever since it feels like cycling on a big fluffy cloud. It's like it's almost effortless, and considering I get around to cycling to work about once a week, this is quite something. I am pleased!

  • I want to cut down my sugar intake. Don't get me wrong, I am eating far less junk food than when I was still living in Tilburg and I consider being happy at my job the main reason, but the late nights en route in my car are hell on my teeth. I am also starting to eat candy at work, as they are very indulgent and buy lots of it. Less sugar is good, no sugar is even better!

  • I drink a lot of water. I started with 1,5 liters a day as a minimum, but the longer I keep it up the more easy it becomes. I am now at the point where I drink a liter and a half before lunch, combined with coffee on the side. In the afternoon I drink at least another half liter, again combined with coffee. Drinking lots of water is good, but when I pair it with drinking a large mug of coffee, suddenly my coffee intake takes on alarming levels. I am just a bit at a loss what else to couple it with. Tea will make for even more toilet visits, and you can imagine those are already quite frequent. !
    But hey, it's good for my skin.

  • I cleared away some junk that was lying around my room. My next event is Drachenfest, at which time I should be living somewhere else. All the larp clothes that had been washed have been folded and stowed, along with my dreads, my newly polished IT shoes, the pink sheets that I bought for making bandages from, etc. etc. I can see the floor again! This makes me happy and less stressed. I finished my Effie skirt, put projects in bags and boxes, and sorted through piles. I folded laundry too. Huzzah!

  • All in all, taking care of myself quite well (on the physical side of things). I could do with more yoga, as I'm usually not in the mood when my alarm goes off, but aside from that I am doing good. I should start practicing my turns, as I fall over when we're doing the rumba. Too many turns!
