Grapevine: looking for a car

Trying to make the most of my network and the grapevine: I am looking for a decent second-hand car. It needs to be of the tiny matchbox class but more importantly: economical in the fuel use. (Need to keep my monthly costs low.)
Think Nissan Micra, Daihatsu Cuore, Toyota Aygo, Citroen C1 or Peugeot 107, but a slighly bigger class is agreeable if it runs 1:15 or better.

My step-brother works in the Nissan garage in Rotterdam and is also keeping his eye out for one, but hasn't come up with anything so far. He can also do a full check if I should find something.
Since Mierlo is 25 minutes by bus from the Eindhoven train station, it takes me tons of time to get anywhere.

Depending on age and technical state I've got a maximum of 2000 euro, give or take, but this is negotiable. Do you know someone?

Uit ervaring weet ik dat dit een betrouwbare auto is. Ik heb dan wel een chervolet, maar das toch dezelfde.
Weinig wegenbelasting, kan veel in, en is zuinig, heb ik het idee.
ik heb hem nu ruim 5 jaar en heb er geen grote dingen aan gehad.
Na 4 jaar accu op en zo, maar dat was eigenlijk alles, en ook berekend.
