Photos from our vacation
Dec. 4th, 2012 03:13 pmI've gotten the pictures edited and mostly online. I've spent some hours this afternoon wrestling with Hugin to stitch the panorama's, but the program wasn't cooperating very well. But I got the best one online, so I can be happy.
Because these are very colourful, they're behind a (fake) cut.
Every picture can be clicked to enlarge!
The castle itself it lovely. Here's some pictures of the inside:

This self-portrait of us two on the bridge behind the castle was tricky to take. I propped the camera up on my shawl and set it to take 10 pictures in one continuous row. Since it's set to RAW, it needs some time to process the first few shots, which gave me time to run up the bridge to join NoKey. *pant pant*

(and yes, it's intentionally crooked)
The walk on the Veluwe was cold and dreary, so thank Bibble for post-processing.

NoKey can stand really, really still. This is a panorama of 12 portrait-oriented pictures.
He was in three of them. In the original size, you can count the grey hairs on his head.
And here's the best salad I've ever had to date, from Luigi's in Harderwijk:

The rest of the set can be found here. There's a handy slideshow button at the top right.

Date: 2012-12-04 03:41 pm (UTC)I like taking pictures of mushrooms, but there were hardly any left to be found! My personal favorite is the one with the decaying ones. I desaturated the colours somewhat, but there's still a hint of reddish brown in there.
