Lowlands Live: Day 2

janestarzHey, I’m awake! It’s a fucking Miracle. So Flogging Molly was an amazing Irish band (”Everyday is St. Patrick’s Day”); the Apers rocked my socks.Green Lizard and Jimmy Eat World were okay. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club was cool. Nickelback sucked somewhat.
Around 14.30 we entered the party-terrain. A lot of people, some grass, tents and plastic. Mostly it’s going to a tent, standing left-front (always left-front) at a band and then going to another tent and to see another band. In between you shake your ass to the music and check out 30.000 boys.
At Nickelback, outside the Alpha tent, I was spotted by 2 long tall dudes. One was 2 metres (Jaap) and the other 2 metres and 14 centimetres [!!!] (Philip). They sandwiched me, which was pretty scary, my arms around Jaap’s neck, after which he picked me up and rollercoastered me. Whee!
Jaap and I arranged to meet up at Peter Pan Speedrock. They play at 14.15. Also today I’m planning on seeing Junkie XL, Incubus, Dimmu Borgir and Korn!!! Maybe I’ll shake my ass in the 24h tent, which is near our camping because Korn ends at 11 pm.
Bah…it’s raining. We talked until 5 am this morning and I need more coffee!!
