Moving right along
Oct. 2nd, 2012 08:52 amNow that my new longsleeve is done and inspiration is satisfied, I can get back to schoolwork. I need to finish the dress I am making (more adventures with jersey fabrics!) and draft a pattern for a jacket. Fun times!
In other news, the knitting project I started because I was on the train so much has made it past 160 rows and I am now learning how to turn a heel. So far, it's not as hard as it looks and it kind of looks like knitting entrelac (which I still really, really want to do some time). You just go back and forth a lot. Long live YouTube instruction videos, where you can learn to open a can of tuna fish, naalbinding, or knitting a boomerang heel.
I'm working today until one o'clock, hope to start on my pattern after that, because tomorrow I have a day off and I need to pack my things for Omen. I have to work Thursday and Friday, so I will probably not get around to doing it then. I need to put my costume and kit on the same table where I'll be drafting my pattern, so this requires some flexibility on all fronts.
So that's what my week will look like. And gosh, doing a dress diary is always so much fun!
