Party leader debate
Sep. 4th, 2012 09:14 pmI was hoping to catch a glimpse of the debate between party leaders this evening. After all, we have elections coming up and it won't do to have an opinion based on anything but facts and experiences.
To say I dislike the elections is to make for a mild view on things. I really very much dislike all the razzamatazz surrounding the elections. Party leaders are spouting nonsense just because it will get them in the newspaper, and getting into the newspaper means you're getting a vote or two more than the guy not getting published.
I was hoping to catch the party leaders debate this evening so I could see for myself the unacceptable media circus that is made from this event that is supposed to make us glad to have the vote.
Except that the debate is on RTL, and since we don't have a TV, I'm left to view it online. And the RTL website happily tells me they only do business with Microsuck Silverlight, and not any of those stupid Linux rip-offs.
Well, there goes my shot at a free informed opinion.
