Sewing fingers

It finally happened and I suppose it warrants an update. Last Friday I sewed my finger for the very first time. I was maneuvring some very tricky corners and the needle hit the middle finger of my left hand. It went through two layers of skin, bled a tiny bit, but it was more of a graze than anything. No lasting harm done and as a seamstress and not a surgeon, playing with needles is much safer for me than for anyone with the other job.

Today will see me picking up rolls at the Lidl combined with my daily walk, and sewing on the Avatar's gift costume for Drachenfest. Let's see if we can make a dent in that workload.

Well at least you got it over with now. My mum would tell me many great horror stories from working in a factory, bless her. Hope you don't get bombarded with sewing 'war wound' stories because of this.
