Today is Good Friday which means that some lucky people have the day off. Me, being unemployed, have ALL the days off, but that might not be a good thing. I saw neighbours returning home early and others taking their time lounging about in the lovely sunshine. Lovely weather for a Good Friday ;-)

Classmate Jeske came over, niece to one of the Netherland's famous fashion designers and also a very cheerful lighthearted woman. We spent most of the day (from 10 till 3) musing over homework, working our way through the deviations and stupid alterations, raglans, kimonos and other sleeves and had a great time. It's obvious I am currently studying the Right Thing.

She took a bus in the afternoon, leaving me to do the weekly groceries before the great rush and making my way home soon enough laden with dairy products (no eggs) and vegetables. Easter is coming up, which means a Big Brunch for me since NoKey has a weird cough and doesn't want to inflict it on my dad's already wonky immune system. I just hope the feeling in my throat is from talking so much, and not a first scout for NoKey's germs.

The Hete Bliksem is getting to a boil, there's two more episodes of Downton Abbey scheduled for the night and life is, generally speaking, pretty good.

Good Friday for me was a friday like all the others. I always have my day off at friday, so today is no difference.
I only have to do my groceries in the Netherlands. In Germany it is an official holiday, so all the shops are closed.
In the afternoon, we had tea in our garden. Yes, life is good.
