Revenge of the Grrrrl

Last week's episode of mayhem with a drill is now continued in this new episode. After the deliverymen delivered a lovely new fridge, I set to cleaning the bathroom. And while I was at it, I might as well finish those little nagging chores like placing a few tidbits on the wall. There was a holder for the toilet paper still waiting to be installed upstairs (last bit of work until that bathroom was done!) and shortly after I found out that drilling through tiles is not very hard at all.

Despite what you might think, it went perfectly well and none of the tiles cracked, and when this upstairs success story was finished, I did some similar chores in the downstairs bathroom. The hooks went into the door, the toilet paper holder went into the wall, and I even managed an overhead feat of drilling many men might have problems with, if only because they're not as freakishly tall as I am and they need a stepladder.

Long story short:
- Cleaned swan neck of bathroom sink (ew, hair pins stuck in there);
- Cleaned downstairs bathroom and toilet;
- Placed toilet paper holder upstairs;
- Placed toilet paper holder downstairs;
- Placed glass shelf in bathroom;
- Placed towel rack.

Scratching things off my list; left right and center. And it feels goooood.
I still want one or two corner shelves for the shampoo bottles in the shower cabin, but this can wait until tomorrow. I'm far too busy soaking up my victory to cycle all the way to the Karwei.
