Ready for Maerquin!

Well, it's very nearly time for my last larp of 2011, which is my all-time favorite Maerquin. Since I'm the secretary of the event sometimes people call me to check up on things. That's how monster Mike called me yesterday and inquired whether I was going to bring a backup.

I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should. Philene, my second character, is definitely not one for the weekend events and I'm missing a rather crucial prop (she was pregnant last time I played her, so I need to have a baby or a good story where the baby is). I usually don't bring a backup character anymore, there just isn't enough space in the bags for one.

I still have a Roodlaars in the planning, she's pretty much ready to be played except for her background, and a name. My mind insists it should either be Rita or Rianne, but I loathe alliterations (Rita de Roodlaars! Haha...). She could be a buddy to Siem, should push come to shove.

If Marianne should die this weekend, I've probably deserved it and all will be well. I'm not sure yet how I'll play her this time, Polomeus' near-death experience shook her pretty badly, but I always go by the feeling of the game when it comes to these things anyway, it doesn't do to fret over things in advance. As far as in-game plans are concerned... well. Let's just say I might have a few. And yes, they might even concern some of you reading this. *grin*

I slept poorly because I'm just too hyped up for Maerquin. No use postponing it any longer, let's just get down to it already! *bounce*

I'm going to pack the car in an hour from now.

We'll probably a bit late, as Anastaszia's work is acting up and we won't be able to start driving sooner than 17.30 (hopefully). And you know how the traphic jams around here are by that time.
