Autumn shoot
Nov. 15th, 2011 10:17 amWhen your contacts on Flickr all upload their best and brightest autumn leaves photos, at some point you just got to succumb to the peer pressure. So this is why I packed my camera while I went out for groceries yesterday and this is how... I found myself perched on the rear end of my bike, half-climbing the Shurguard fence, in order to get that perfect gingko leaf picture.
They have camera's there. If the cops will come by later to ask why I was scaling the fence and taking pictures of the storage facility I guess I'll start with "You know, it's the funniest thing..."
If I'm not heard from again, now you all know why.
And even then the pictures of the gingko don't even come close to those I took later of the beech leaves I found in the sunshine, after the mist had gone away. Of course I have the artistic license to just show you the best one from the set, but I can assure you they're all really beautiful. Just click on the picture below to see them all.
All in all, definitely worth getting cold fingers over.
