Typical sewing day...

"Hm. I screwed up my sleeve pattern. Have to redo the sleeves. Let's tear out this underarm seam to adjust the sleeve."
*Fabric next to underarm seam rips*
"Blast! Well, nothing for it, it's the bin for you!"
*Tosses blouse in the bin*
"Wait! Didn't I have scrap fabric?"
*Fishes sleeve out of bin and tries it on the scrap fabric to see if there's enough left for one new sleeve*
"This should work, with the smaller sleevehead!"
*Fishes the rest of the blouse out of the bin, making sure to get all pieces*
"Now where is my pattern...?"
*Adjusts pattern so the sleevehead is correct*
"Huzzah! New pattern. Wait... where is my traced pattern piece? I need to adjust that to this new sleevehead. Maybe... didn't I throw that out?"
*Tosses blouse back into the bin*
"Bugger all that for a lark."
*Finds the blouse pattern back, while clearing the tables*
"There it is! Hey, get back out here, you!"
*Fishes the blouse out of the bin for the second time*

Sigh... some days are just too much.
