Tilburg: the Plan

I spent yesterday afternoon on my knees to mop up all the sanding dust so we can get started on the rest of the livingroom without having the dust settle into the new paint.

Without further ado, here's the Plan. NoKey and I settled on a date and the work that still needs to be done is alotted as follows:

October 24 until November 4th: NoKey paints the ceiling of the livingroom. Most of it will be done by brush in stead of rollers.
November 4th-6th: Legendfalls. All of our stuff is in Tilburg, so we can go by train or rent a car from there.
November 7th - 13th: More ceiling painting if needed. Hanging up the new spots when it's dry. It's a big hunk of ceiling and there's only so much time when he can work on it. I'll spend this time packing up the apartment in Rotterdam.
November 14th -17th: I paint the walls of the livingroom. This should take no more than two days, for two coats of paint.
November 18th-20th: Maerquin. This is in Loon op Zand so just around the corner from Tilburg.
November 21st - 28th: Buying and laying Ikea laminaat, assembling Ikea cd-cupboards and book cupboards. I will need to rent a car for this, but that shouldn't be a problem. I could use a hand with the floor, it's been fifteen years since I last did tthis.
December 1st and 2nd: we move.

This schedule seems prettty wide, there's more than two weeks for the ceiling, but you know how chores pile up and I know how much of a perfectionist NoKey really is. The best part is if we move faster, we can do other little chores in between.

I'm off to find a moving company, we're going to need a lift for most of our furniture.

Het maakt niet uit dat de planning ruim is, als je maar een definitieve verhuisdatum hebt! Dan heb je iets om naar toe te werken, da's vaak wel prettig.

You can be more or less settled for Sinterklaas. ;)
Good luck moving. Do you need extra hands for that or is a moving company going to be all you need?

Als het kliklaminaat is wil ik best komen helpen :). Met alle verhuizingen in de afgelopen tien jaar heb ik genoeg ervaring opgedaan om er wat mee te kunnen :).

I'll check my agenda but I think that laying Ikea laminaat won't be a problem. And for moving? Already told you. I'll be present. And my car can hold a lot of thingies! Excluding cupboards and couches I'm afraid. Although ... if I flip up the back seat Can Can turns into a sturdy moving vehicle wiht lot's of space.
