Well, we're back from Omen. I'm too flaky to make much of an IC post, but maybe I'll get around to that tomorrow.

I had a great time, but I really broke down after Time-Out was called because of the heavy emo stuff right around then, the fact that I'd only slept for a few hours and that people were blocking the entire village by randomly parking cars. With all the players bringing their IC-encampments, the Omen crew very nearly have to create a route-plan for people wanting to load their stuff...I was so tired I felt like crying when I couldn't get my (rent-a-)car to the Anarquendor camp.

Muscle status: nothing aches too badly yet, but I can feel I had a great work-out.
I also realised I am far better at shooting bow when hyped up with adrenaline (yay for monsters giving me epic dodging skills!) and that it's time to realise I can't help everybody. And when I do, I learn stuff I do not necessarily want to know before people themselves know things.

I was pretty much stuck with my character and being a captain hindred my personal development, but we managed to get her going again. The plot that was given to us was not suited for everybody and we lost Radag'hen to the TimeFaun, a price she had to pay for seeing things that were not hers to see. This generated a lot of OC friction, and I just hope that Gwendolijn can, at some point, see why things went the way they went. For Beriadanwen, Radag'hen leaving was a logical end with the limited information I had. After all, if you make a bargain, you must pay the price.

Today was spent clearing away things, putting arrows back into boxes (thorn in my eye since Drachenfest!) and counting them, and returning the rented car. I hope I can reach the Smit residence about the damage to the car (some idiot threw a spray can to a friend and it landed on the tail light of the rented car!) so we can get the administrative things out of the way. And tonight there will be the first schoolnight of the new year, so that will keep me busy until it's lights-out!

And just in case it wasn't clear from this far too disjointed post: Omen was freaking awesome!

didn't have the chance to play a lot with le Capitain. Jacque could not quite place Beriadanwens new behaviour. Made a bit of a post traumatic, pshycosymatic change. He his a bit worried about her at the moment.

This event was more interaction with the Eventyr and the religious types like the priests and paladins and less Anarquendor for me. busy busy busy to say the least. Had to spread my attention, as the social and cultural "eye of the storm". But with Arrevalo keeping me alive, and the bond still being there, I will make amends on Omen 13.

and yeah: Omen was Awesome!

Indeed, Omen was awesome!

Although I had a quite an impressive amount of OC death-threats from most of the Anarquendor. I guess little Lalaith made an impression last Drachenfest ;)
