Midwinterfair update

Wow.
With rights, the best fair I've been to this year, the Midwinterfair tops them all. The weather kept fine (the heavy rains started somewhere this night, but it was fair and quite warm for the time of year this weekend), the atmosphere was great, and we had such nice customers.
Besides the fun we've had, we sold well, and I spent the money I got for my birthday on some good things. Everyone who gave me a little envelope with some money, here's what I bought of that!

• Two short larp elven swords, very sleek and deadly. Like the middle one in the picture, but longer (because that's a dagger) and with a dark green handgrip, no scabbard.
  
• Valyar boots in dark brown leather. Made to measure, and measure she did. I needed some adaptations in length of the shaft and width at the calf.
  
• I also ordered an elven longsword but also a bit more sleek than the one in the picture.

I had saved up some extra money to go with the money I had from my birthday and though I'd probably have been better off with buying myself a new bicycle, I'm very happy I bought these things. Ragar is going to make Lanelle's armour, and there will be two scabbards on the left shoulder to store the two short swords. Combined with the following outfit, it'll be really nice to have a finished costume for a change.

I'd like to thank all the people from our little Larp-reality that came over to say hi. Goofy, Keffie, JW, Drahkan and J, Athiel, Lupijn, Maglok, Dreek, Glimworm, Manesni, Voltar, Sjiva, Steelweaver, Twilightbanana, 'Argh', 'Jasmijn', 'Miss Hudson', Finn, Brigida, Witchy, Chryssiewillow, Garou, the Maerquin people, Erwin & Inge, 'Kat', CeeJay, and of course Dennildur, the second-sexiest samurai I know. Everyone else I don't know the nickname of, sorry I don't mention you by name, but thanks for dropping by. You guys were a big part of all the fun I had there.
Also, my thanks go to all the larp-events that went the distance to promote and entertain. They certainly entertained me, when I was out hunting because I was bored (those few times).
