Sewing days

I spend all my days sewing. It's good, basically, it keeps me occupied and prevents me from falling into depression. I hope.

The jacket I was working on for myself is coming along nicely. A couple of flying lessons yesterday have taught it some well-deserved lessons hah! I ran out of thread though, so I'll have to wait until the shops are open before I can continue. Or I could sew some accents on it in "PINK!!!", but I fear that means I'll never wear it.

I'll also be pondering my next move. With LaaLaaLock still broken, I'm reluctant to start on the orders I have lying around - though I can cut and sew two cloaks that don't necessarily need a lock-stitch because they're fleece. I also want to start on my new embroidery project, if only just to see what it looks like. I've ran out of yarn for my scarf too, so I hope they have another ball of yarn so I can make the scarf as long as I want it to. I'm pondering putting dark brown beads on the bottom, but I'll have to buy them. Besides, they will click when I walk, so maybe that's not the best of ideas.

Cleaned my desk and appear to have not been able to locate the phone number of that friend of my dad's who will hopefully give us a ride to Germany Saturday. It can only mean one thing. It's in the pile of junk mail in the living room. One of three.

Anyway, off again, to do the tidying and cleaning. I feel so house-wifey lately. Blerghhh!
