janestarzLast night after bandpractice I went over to NoKey's. I had set my alarm clock Wednesdaymorning because Cloudman was supposed to come over [but couldn't find the road to Veenendaal]. But when the alarm went off and I turned over to huggle and snuggle with NoKey he wasn't there! Such a bummer to wake up in your own bed like that. Instead I crawled into Joey's warm cuddlybear's arms.
Bandpractice was okay. I was quite inspired when I got on that train, but after delay, and a tram riding off in front of my nose, the inspiration was soon gone. It only returned around five to nine, when TC hit the bass bigtime and the band that reserved the space after us came charging in.
Playing the setlist went good though. I personally think that if we could play a set of only three songs we'd be on stage in a week. But we need more good songs. I hated With or Without Control, our Sahara Hotnights cover. It just sounded all off. And we didn't even do Leave It.
Laura had a thought about Angel. Whether I could do a wheew wheew on my guitar. I did a bend-wheew wheew, then a slide-wheew wheew and then she gave up. But in the end the slide was approved of. Angel went real good.
In other news, I want my own server. Brinkster decided to put adds on everyone's website, and I specifically chose Brinkster so that I would NOT have any adds. Now I'll have to move. Anyway, I'm redesigning as it is.
My own server could host the Tommies website as well.
I need to buy myself a new version of Windows. How can I afford a server...?
