My temptation
Oct. 23rd, 2003 09:37 pmI moved my desk upstairs, with the computer. It's better this way. At least the internet will be a little bit safer now, though I doubt the roomies here would have figured out that they needed to change the dial-in number to something else.
But now I am more sure they will not use my computer to try to print something (Hah! As if I have a working cartridge for that!)
My subject for NaNoWriMo is distilling in my brain. At least I now have a setting and an idea. That is more than before. I also am in doubt for what I now will do next: several connected stories in the same setting, mounting up to one big bang of a plot ending (which will be hard enough), or just focusing on one of the stories, and writing the other ones as 'sequels'.
But then again, we'll see where inspiration takes me.
I just realized that if Luc is going to fix my computer in November I might have a problem concerning NaNo.
But I can always type in school (and keep good backups EVERYWHERE) or work at NoKey's computer, even if Linux does force me to write the whole damn 50.000+ words thing in notepad.
So now I have my computer hooked up to my stereo as well, which so ROCKS! All my good mp3's can now be played in semi-good stereo. The soundcard still sucks though. But so does my internet connection.
So can't wait until that DSL arrives.
Anyways, I need to figure out a place to store my big ordners, archive some shit and write down what kinds of boxes I need to buy.
Later dudes and dudettes!
