Jane has access to the internet at home...

IE crashes about every five minutes and my entire system freezes, but at least I can update my livejournal. I hope. Well, quickly, before it freezes again...

Opera is much more stable than IE. :)
Unless, that is, you're using a Mac, but then IE probably wouldn't crash in the first place.

Well, I know a lot about internet and computers compared to most girls, and though I don't know exactly what opera is, I do know that downloading programs on a 56k modem takes a lonnnngggg time. As long as it works okay, I'm happy. I'm surfing now, right? *wide grin*

1) Opera is a superior Web browser
2) Opera is only 12MB with Java or 3MB without, so it'll be fast even on a 56k modem
3) You've not experienced happy surfing until you've tried Opera. :)
