No, I’m just playing. I do look pretty though. If I may say so myself. Thanks to my stepmoms “Haarpflegekur” (hairmask) and a good shower my hair is soft as ever.
Last night work was okayish. It was really slow night, not a lot of reservations, and only Timo, Gineke and Erik were there besides me. Erik said “in a moment you can fight about who’s going to be in the kitchen”; and I volunteered. Better be in the kitchen with good music going on while doing nothing then being out front (with bad music doing nothing). I didn’t bring my cd’s but I listened to a Youp van het Hek cd (he’s a stand-up comedian): Spelen met mijn leven. It’s wonderful. I saw that show live in Rotterdam back in ’95 and I could still recall some stuff but I also remember breaking my arm that afternoon in the zoo. Laughed my ass off nonetheless. And cleaned above the oven and all the shelves because it was such a quiet night. We barbecued afterwards though, that was fun. Timo getting drunk on one beer (as usual) and he and Gineke fooling around with drinks. Good chickensate though.
I guess I’ll type some portfolio while waiting for that dragon to land.
