I was so gung ho to get it over with, I showed up at the hospital an hour early this morning. By bike, because my mom called she might not make it on time. I figured that was pretty much a given, since it was already eight o'clock and she'd never make it to Tilburg by eight-thirty.
Only when I checked in at the desk did I hear that my appointment was not at eight-thirty but nine-thirty.

This mix-up happens to me a lot, and usually I double-check my appointment time, but for some reason I didn't do that today.
In any case, dr. Stolk is also very nice, we chatted for a while before the anastaesia kicked in, and she had the first of two remaining wisdom teeth out in three minutes. Huzzah!
The one above was a little harder and she had to grind some bone down with an awful sounding saw (I was curious and asked what they did after it was all done, they didn't tell me at the time) but managed to extract my final wisdom modifier from my mouth.

I got one shot less this time, so my mouth is a little more sore now, but I'm doing fine. Done again within 20 minutes, and very happy it's over and I will not have to go back for a long, long time. I hope.
I'm having a little more trouble eating this time around, but the feeling is slowly returning to my mouth so by the time I'll have finished the cold cup of coffee and my yoghurt I might get around to the sandwich I made. I also nibbled at a cookie I still hope to finish at some point.

No more wisdom teeth for Janey, but I am very happy it all went so smoothly and that it's all over with so I don't have to worry any more. Also, my mom rocks for driving me and being worried.
