Weekend plans

Yesterday I raided the country side and harvested two saddlebags worth of goldenrod and tansy. Tansy is really growing wild around here, and even goldenrod has escaped gardens and is growing like a weed in, I have to say, hard-to-reach places.

Meanwhile, I cycled 37 kilometers, visiting Goirle, Moergestel, Oisterwijk, back to Moergestel and of course my home town Tilburg. Most of these were harvested to the South of Tilburg, because between Moergestel and Oisterwijk it's far too forested to have any of these.
Of course I didn't recognise other plants that might be worthwhile to harvest, and it was nice to have my eye trained on yellow flowers, but it begs the question what else I missed.
Tomorrow Steelweaver will be visiting so I'll be working with the plants then, trying to dye some linen.

Today will see me working on a tunic for Maerquin and, if I feel like it, a pair of hosen that can be dyed with above plants. Tonight we have a party at dolphirl's place, so more cycling is expected, yay!

This weekend's heat stroke makes me feel like I'm in Greece. Go figure.
