Wisdom teeth update
Aug. 3rd, 2012 11:33 am( TMI for some, so behind a cut )
I've only taken one ibuprofen today, so already getting better, and am feeling up to doing things around the house already. There's some tenderness in my mouth but it's not pain, and I'm forcing myself to take it slow. As far as I can tell at this point, eating and talking are not a problem at all. I'm hopeful for my chances of going to Castlefest tomorrow.
I'm planning to pick up my long-lost sewing machine today, fold some laundry, and finish writing my Drachenfest report. No weeding in the garden for me (holding my head lower does hurt a wee bit), but all in all I am really very glad this experience is turning out less painful and less incapacitating than expected.
I'm just hoping the other two will be as easy as these first two, but in all fairness; even if they're not, they're hopefully going to be the last two teeth I'll have pulled in a while.
Take care of those teeth, people. You need them for some eighty years.
