Kidney belt
Jun. 29th, 2012 10:59 amStats: Corset-like belt pattern made of center front, side front, side back, and center back.
Materials: thick leather glued with thinner "bankhuid" (couch leather)
Bloopers and blunders: I forgot to add seam allowance to each panel and I only realised this as half the belt was already assembled. I had originally planned to make it close on the left-hand side. Tim suggested I fix my error by opening up center back to allow for some extra room.
Needles broken: 4 (hand-sewing)
Sewing the Anarquendor logo into it was rather tedious. Some day I will complain to Ragar about the logo and its shape, but I suppose it's my own bloody fault for adding it to so many things. Banners, chairs, kidney belts and even lapdesks...
