janestarzLast night. 4 giddy girls, two guitars a bass and a drumkit. That spells *r*o*c*k* to you, laddy!
It was ever so much fun playing with the Tommies. We practiced hard and actually filled the three hours we reserved the practicehall. It had a leather couch (like real rockstars chill out on) and a small step up to the stage where the drumthing was. Nice amps, we four rockin' chicas and some SippyChips made our night complete.
I'm very satisfied with how the songs went. In the end it almost sounded like they were real songs, and even though I had "the coffee/machine makes its/noises" in my head all night and my fingers hurt like hell I am very satisfied.
I even got to do my emo song!
We taped some on minidisc, and when TC and I got home we played it over the stereo. It was great hearing us giggle like maniacs and it gave us a good chance to reflect on what needs sharpening up. Well, just about everything. I could hardly hear my guitarplay but it was loud enough on minidisc. I should pay attention to the bass more. She's gooood.
This morning we had an exam which was fucking hard. So I guess I'll have another go at that one next trimester. Tomorrow last exam for this tri. I'll study this afternoon and night. Ethics and Masscommunication. Sounds like a ball, right?
