Ich will eure hände fühlen…
Jul. 1st, 2002 10:46 amRammstein was amazing. Their show was wild, lights and flames and dildo’s included. The Dreamwalker, his sister and I went to stand a bit up front, near the fences they put up for desperate fans. First there was Dreadlock Pussy: scratch-scratch-we’ve-seen-this-with-other-wrong-bands-but-hey-nice-guitar-anyway! After that was Within Temptation. I’ve seen them at Ozzfest and they sucked, but by that time I already had 3 cd’s from them in my house. This night they had practiced for their performance for a change. They even played Enter and they opened with my fav song Deceiver of Fools.
Then Rammstein came up on stage. They were all warm and flamey and played enourmously well. I mean…they had small stages on the big stage for every guitarist. The bass-player was standing on his little isle of madness just playing. So was the other cool guitarist. The keyboarder had his little dentist shop thing going on. There were some groce moments though, and I won’t share the details.
During Rammstein, this really nice guy came standing next to me. He had pointed out where my friends were when I came back from the toilets and at the time I was standing next to an a-hole who’s only concern was to touch me and make cigarettes and smoke them. The nice guy just pushed him aside, and shoved me to a place where I could see well. He kept on doing that for half the show, and somewhere along the line we ended up kissing.
Red curls until his shoulders, blue eyes, and a lower-lip spike piercing [which I had no trouble with except that it kept getting stuck in my hair]. Truth be told, if he hadn’t asked me my name I probably wouldn’t have known his. Freaky: his name is Jimmy. We didn’t exchange phonenumbers or anything, I mean: why? Besides, he’s from Groningen somewhere. We both enjoyed the concert and this way we enjoyed it a wee bit more. Even though it must have been 40 degrees in there, it still was nice to have someones arms wrapped ‘round.
The Dreamwalker expressed his disappointment in me because I was so shallow as to kiss a total stranger I almost didn’t speak to at a concert. *Smirks* Hi dad! Welcome back!
After Rammstein we three went to the So What, where I had more alcohol. I am amazed I didn’t end up in Emile’s arms also. I was quite far gone…3 festivalbeers, 3 good beers, and a whisky. *Grin*
No hangover though.*Big Smile*
