Chaotic weekend of crafts

janestarzAfter some planning issues on the Maerquin forum I invited people to drop by in Boxtel and come do their crafts here! Victor was the first to show up -- I picked him up from the train station on Saturday night -- but Tim & Ilse, Anemoona and Eferillion were also game.
Victor and myself started on the pattern for my new helmet on Saturday night, which was a good thing! We had a DeviantArt inspiration and proceeded to mold bits of cardboard to fit my head.
This morning I picked up Eferillion up from the train station and we continued downstairs with the crafts. There was an easy salad with sausage-inna-bun for lunch, and we made great progress.
Now that everyone's gone home again, I've sorted through the chaos. We ended up carrying at least four banana boxes of crafts stuff down the stairs, including plates and cutlery, a pot of tea and a pot of coffee, salt, leather, a riveting spindle, a gambeson, my greaves project, a laptop and many more things.
But the dishes are done, the bed Victor slept in is cleared away and most of the crafts things are all put in their proper place again. I am somewhat glad the air is quieting down as well, but I am very pleased with the progress!
